Beach wedding in Santorini – Hippie flair meets Greek serenity
Summer, sunshine, limestone and that special mediterranean spirit – that’s what makes up Santorini for us. The famous Greek island’s relaxed atmosphere goes along beautifuly with the bohemian theme of our bridal shooting. Hippie feeling meets with Greek serenity at one of Santorini’s many great beaches. It makes beach wedding dreams come true!
Weightless fabrics play in the light summer breeze, while velvety pillows snuggle up to the sand among a shady canopy. An old palett serves as a narrow table. From those elements we have created a gorgeous place to sit and celebrate.
This romantic, tranquile scene was combined with very natural, organic elements that might be found at the beach. Shells, foams, little pieces of wood and native plants make the table decoration’s details. Golden cutlery fits especially well with this assortment of jetsam. Even the a href=”https://www.pompomyourlife.de/shop/alles-zum-feiern/gedeckter-tisch/kerzen-und-kerzenstaender/988/stabkerze-ivory?c=309″>candles light up in golden candle sticks.
The floristry employs local flowers on her part, like thistles for example. Roses, astrantia, love-in-a-mist, Peruvian lilies and eucalyptus join the bunch. This way a wonderful, boho-inspired bridal bouquet with little blue sprinkles of color arises.
The color palett is also inspired by the volcanic island’s natural hues. That’s why soft tones in grey, off-white, rose and green are dominating the scene. The ocean’s sparkling blue can be found in the stationary. Artistically lettered calligraphy on fascinatingly beautiful paper invited the wedding guests on a very special journey to Santorini. Grey silk ribbon dances around the paper arrangement.
But now it’s time to let the pictures tell the whole story.
