Immerse yourself in the luxurious 18th century era with this beautiful and elegant castle wedding in Germany at the Nischwitz Castle
Not far away from the big and beautiful city of Leipzig, there is this stunning Rococo-style palace. A true gem in a small town in Saxony. Reminisce of the past, where the castle was the scene of many glamorous festivities, this is a perfect venue for an elegant castle wedding in Germany.
Glitzy jewels, prestigious dancers, the dulcet sound of an orchestra... and let's not forget about the breath-taking evening dresses swinging and flowing in the rhythm of the music. The impression that we get from this castle had to be incorporated in our design concept of this wedding. We not only tried to reflect the colors and the architecture of this palace, but also capture the mood the the grand balls that once took place in the halls of Nischwitz Castle. Classy, playful and elegant were the adjectives to describe overall mood we wanted to create.
Are you looking for a pretty wedding venue to make your dream of a Castle Wedding in Germany come true? Fortunately, we have listed a few of our favorite wedding venues in Germany, and there are many beautiful castles that could bring a fairytale wedding to life! Do not miss impressions from a blue velvet themed wedding at Bensberg Castle.
The pictures were created by talented destination wedding photographers Mila & Stephan from Vivid Symphony. We really love their feminine aesthetic and touching emotions they show in these pictures.
Luxurious Wedding at a German Castle with a Vivid Color Theme
The idea of a colorful, vivid theme and the color concept, which creates a beautiful play of different hues, is based on the decoration of the garden room. The walls showcase frescoes like the Liberation of Andromeda, Europe, Sirens, a river god, Icarus and Daedalus, and various sea deities. They are painted with a limited color palette using mint, blush, and grey tones. In contrast, the ceiling boasts a very colorful and expressive fresco.
The colors of the interior design are mirrored in the color palette of the design concept. We used white for the plasterwork as base color and combined it with blush, coral, dusty pink and golden accents for a luxurious touch.
Elegant Table Decoration and Floristry to Match the Luxurious Wedding Theme
A Castle Wedding in Germany like this one requires elegant table decorations to match the luxurious theme. The tableware we chose is from the Ornament collection by Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre, known for its sophisticated design. The pattern of the collection is inspired by the ceilings of the Vista Alegre Palace, which, like Nischwitz Castle, is adorned with white plaster. The subtlety of the white relief on the plates perfectly reflects the plasterwork found at Nischwitz Castle. With its delicate shape and unique details, the tableware graces the table elegantly. Small golden candleholders with thin candlesticks and decorative golden cutlery add just the right amount of classiness.
The floral arrangements include English garden roses, white and coral peonies, foxglove, and Japanese ranunculus. White tableware is complemented with golden accents.
The Styling of the Bride
The bride's styling is very subtle and natural. Her makeup enhances her natural beauty and striking features. The wedding dress by Papilio is playful, feminine, and classy. A flutter-sleeve dress with delicate embellishments is simply irresistible, isn't it? Golden accessories match the golden accents within the color concept and elevate her wedding look. Pretty heels with tulle bows from Bella Belle Elise give the bride a playful twist.
Cute little details sometimes make a huge difference
The wedding cake by Süsse Verzauberung (meaning "sweet enchantment" in German) is a three-tier classic design that includes fine details like a painting of one of the wall frescoes from the location and white plasterwork made of sugar.
The stationery by Lettering GRG from Madrid is crafted with much attention to detail. The letterpress print with its golden crest of the couple's monogram combined with hand-calligraphed elements in golden ink adds that special touch of luxury.
