Getting married in the exclusive Villa Medicea la Ferdinanda near Florence
Spontaneity is the soul of freedom
… and sometimes it creates the most beautiful moments. That’s what happened to us in Tuscany. Actually we were there for our project at Villa Catureglio and had a day to spare. Together with the photographers we decided to start another project the following day. Once more a stunning villa acted as the scenery. The Villa Medicea la Ferdinanda formerly belonged to the world-famous Medici family, who influenced Tuscany greatly during the Renaissance. Today it houses a hotel and luxury spa as well as a dreamy wedding location with lots of opportunities for the perfect Tuscan dream wedding. In this post we give you some inspiration for how such fall-inspired dream wedding with two brides may look like.
Styling
The brides wear dresses by Israeli designer Adi Shlomo. Her designs are feminin and romantic, luxurious and elegant. Both brides wear their hair down which, together with the silver jewelery, adds a laid-back touch to the bridal styling. The light during the golden hour of the sunset brings out all the brilliant details of the two bride’s beauty.
Decoration
Local flowers, plants and fruits find their way into the table styling. An abundance of apples, prickly pears, grapes and pomegranates brings the colors of fall to the table and reminds of a harvest festival. The cutlery and ceramic plates with golden rims go perfectly with the green, red and orange tones of the centerpiece. White tablecloths and napkins form a neutral yet chic base for the table styling of this Tuscan wedding.
Floristry
For the floristry we picked flowers, grasses and pomegranates along the road. A wonderful floral concept can come to life even with things you can find in nature. For the centerpiece and the two bridal boquets we chose olive twigs and all kind of grasses. Along with it go a variety of blossoms in red and blush. This way the floristry also resembles the fall in all its facets.
