[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Romans already discovered the springs of todays spa town Bad Pyrmont, which became a hotspot for the royal high society in 17th century. To this day Bad Pyrmont with its spa facilities is a fascinating city. And right there Bad Pyrmont Castle invites you to be part of a soft-pastel wedding. A hue of time travel included. We are not going back to the days of the high counts though. Instead there is a whiff of 20s flair in the springtime air.
Styling
That peaks through especially in the styling. A loosely draping empire waistline dress with sparkling beading by Jenny Packham (via Salon Hamburg)Â is combined with golden strappy sandals by Jimmy Choo and a hairstyle with waterwave. This way a super elegant, 20s-inspired look is created. You like it a bit more playful? Then you might want to incorporate a flower crown into your perfect bridal styling.
Floristry
The floristry resorts to a variety of flowers in pastel colors. In the bridal bouquet as well as the centerpiece there are mainly blue hydrangea and scabiosa, white Canterbury bells, roses, great globe thistles and eucalyptus to be found. Long ribbons in gold and grey-blue-ish tones are a modern visual details and hold the bouquet in place.
Sweet Table
The only thing that’s reminiscing of blue bloods and crowned heads are the dominating colors of our shooting – blue and gold. Those can not only be found in the bride’s accessories, but also in the stationary and the table styling. The color-dream team has also taken a hold of the sweet table. A fine, baby-blue colored silk ribbon decorates the handmade, ceramic ring cup.
Stationary
The location’s royal ambience is picked up again in the stationary. The invitations and menues are embellished with a code of arms detail. Golden font invites the guests to a wedding of a very special kind. All this assorts perfecty well with Bad Pyrmont Castle.
Table styling
Modern elements can be spotted mainly in the table decoration and the details on the sweet table. White napkins hang loosely over the edge of the table and pinned inside the wedding cake are playful cake toppers. We combined with this tableware with beautiful golden details, golden cutlery and matching brass candle sticks with thin, white candles. Because the middle of the table is taken up by a lavish centerpiece, the candles find their homes at the ends of the table. Antique chairs with blue seat cushions round off the wedding decoration’s look.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
