This is how relaxed and laid-back you can get married on the beach on Santorini
Summer, sun, limestone and that very special Mediterranean lifestyle - that's what Santorini is all about for us. The relaxed atmosphere of the famous Greek island harmonises wonderfully with the concept of this inspiration for a beach wedding on Santorini. At Vlychada Beach, hippie feeling meets Greek serenity.
Weightless fabrics, velvety cushions and maritime elements define the decor concept for this beach wedding on Santorini
Weightless fabrics play in the light summer breeze, while velvety cushions snuggle up in the sand under a shady canopy. And an old pallet serves as a low table next to it. We have used these elements to create a space that definitely invites you to linger and relax.
We have combined this romantic, laid-back setting with completely natural elements that can be found on the beach. Shells, sponges, small pieces of wood and plants native to Santorini make up the details of the table decorations.
The colour palette reflects the colours of Santorini
For the colour palette, we were inspired by the natural colours of the Greek volcanic island of Santorini. As well as the classic Greek blue skyline of Greece, Santorini is an island of burnt orange and blood red, royal purple and butter yellow, electric green and pastel pink. For the wedding concept, we chose the white of the limestone cliffs at Vlychada Beach, the grey of the dark volcanic sand, the pastel pink like colour of the cliffs at sunset and the blue of the sea.
For a touch of glamour, we have added the lovely details of the flotsam and jetsam with golden cutlery combined. In addition, we have colour-coordinated stick candles in golden Candlesticks decorated.
But now we'll let the pictures do the talking. Have fun!
