A summery and chic wedding in a dreamlike wedding location in Provence
Our summer wedding in Provence took place at the Chateau de Tourreau, a dream wedding location in Provence in the south of France. Provence is located in the south of France and boasts fantastic landscapes and a Mediterranean climate. Olive trees and pomegranates exude their irresistible scent in the region. But Provence is also known for its precious perfume factories. We have therefore developed a wedding concept for this wedding in Provence that plays with these aspects and combines the typical elements of the South of France. Many societies have used perfume in the past, but the French have put this luxury item in the limelight.
As fragrances are difficult to capture in pictures, I have focussed on the main elements of perfume. Lush flowers such as jasmine or orange blossom are important ingredients in many fragrance essences. But perfumes are not only striking, there is often only a light veil in the air. We really wanted to incorporate this lightness, even fleetingness, into our concept. The wedding location in Provence was quickly found. Chateau de Tourreau was simply perfect for this wedding in France.

Fairytale wedding location in Provence: Chateau de Tourreau
The south of France has many beautiful buildings. But this wedding location in Provence is definitely one of the most beautiful. Chateau de Tourreau is very romantic and picturesque, yet surprisingly luxurious. Built in the 1750s, it sits in the heart of Provence. Old cypress trees give the large garden a charming flair. The water fountain is another highlight. Several farmhouses and a pool create an unforgettable stay for guests. The colour scheme of the location fits in wonderfully with our concept. With the green shutters, the chateau has a lot of recognition value. Our colour concept is kept in soft colours such as old pink.
Perfume was the theme of this wedding in Provence
The theme was particularly evident in the floristry. The bridal bouquet and the centrepiece are made of jasmine, fragrant rose and tuberose. All these flowers are used in perfume production. In combination with olive branches and pomegranate, the bouquets represent Provence in all its splendour. The delicate shapes of the flowers help to realise the theme of perfume in a picturesque way.
The table decoration consists of a velvet tablecloth in antique pink, which harmonises with the beautiful tableware from Vista Alegra. The subtle pattern of the plates can be found in the glasses. Small details are often the most important, as they are responsible for the coherence of the concept. Golden accents in the filigree cutlery and the golden wood of the chairs create an elegant look that perfectly matches the luxurious location.
The styling of the bride and the little details
The wedding dress by Mira Zwillinger is an absolute highlight of the wedding. The white tulle looks very light and airy and the 3D appliqués carry our Provence wedding theme. The jewellery and the bride's headpiece match the floristry. The stationery for this wedding in France even has a lovely illustration of the location and lots of other little details that also perfectly match the pink colour palette.
