A dream wedding location near Lisbon
The Quinta de Sao Thiago is an old Portuguese manor house from the 16th century, picturesquely situated in the northern hills of Sintra just 30 kilometres from Lisbon. A perfect wedding location in Portugal, close to Lisbon!
Colour-coordinated table decorations in blue, white and gold at the Quinta de Sao Thiago
A metallic accent is created by the golden cutlery and the narrow gold-coloured Brass candlestick set.
Die delicate mouth-blown vases were manufactured in the Thuringian glass-blowing town of Lauscha in the 1980s. In terms of colour, they perfectly round off the overall picture.
The delicate blossoms of the blue rain inspire wedding floristry
The blue rain (Wisteria) blooms in Portugal at the beginning of April. The long, fragrant flower panicles of this enchanting plant entwine lushly along trees, house walls and walls everywhere. The blue-violet panicles of the wisteria harmonised wonderfully with the delphinium and aconite, which we had decorated as individual flowers in delicate glass vases.
These flowers were also found in the bridal bouquets. One bridal bouquet consisted solely of countless sprigs of blue rain and was decorated with softly flowing silk ribbons of Silk & Linen embraced.
