We love natural and organic decorations and like to take inspiration from nature and its different shades of greenery in our work. When Pantone announced Greenery as the colour of the year for 2017, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to create a unique wedding look.

Together with a great team, we set about creating a truly stunning setting inspired by the Pantone colour of the year, Greenery.

Romantic bridal styling

With styling, hair and make-up by Ria Saage, the bride wore a beautiful, classic cut lace dress by Fräulein Liebe. The dress was fitted and had a beautiful low back and lace sleeves. The waist was emphasised with a narrow brown leather belt. The groom wore a dark blue suit that perfectly complemented the lush green backdrop and contrasted perfectly with the white dress worn by the bride.

She held a bouquet of fresh greenery, ferns and white flowers. The bride wore a loose herringbone braid adorned with a green fern, which perfectly complemented her red hair.

To perfectly showcase the green colour scheme, the choice of a light and airy outdoor location was a logical one. Against the backdrop of the clear blue water and green landscape, the bride held a large terrarium as a creative interpretation of a modern bridal bouquet.

Wedding decorations for a greenery wedding

The wedding decorations, including the table setting, which incorporated nature and the natural beauty of the surrounding grounds, reflected the theme. The white table runner made of softly flowing chiffon provided the perfect backdrop for the floral decorations and the crockery in a simple, clear form. The loose and flowing centrepiece of white flowers and greenery was created by Milles Fleurs. It forms the centrepiece of the table decoration. The wine glasses were nestled between the flowing leaves and flowers in a beautiful organic shape.

Wedding cake and desserts

As an alternative to a sweet table, Eghlima from mundus has developed a savoury table. Figs and grapes in deep, rich purple stand out from the three-tier cake made from cheese wheels. Sprigs of green rosemary and freshly baked savoury delicacies round off the overall picture and invite you to enjoy.

The wedding candle with the text “to have and to hold“ was calligraphed by Nicole Sprekelmann from Nicnillas Ink.

Matching wedding stationery

Katherina Ostende from Poesie der Feder designed stationery to match the theme. The delicate calligraphy was combined with fine details such as delicate silk ribbons and transparencies.
