Exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence at the Château de la Tour Vaucros

October 25

In this blog post, we present you with exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence. In recent years, Provence has become one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in Europe. Couples from all over the world dream of saying "I do" amidst the breathtaking lavender fields and rolling hills of this region. It's not just the picturesque landscapes that make this place so special, but also the choice of unique wedding venues with a long history.

The Château de la Tour Vaucros - An exclusive wedding venue with history and charm

Das Château de la Tour Vaucros, located 15 kilometres north-east of the charming city of Avignon, is a romantic estate - its walls, courtyards and gardens are witness to countless love stories that began here. It is the perfect setting for an exclusive wedding, a place that makes dreams come true for couples dreaming of an exclusive wedding in one of the most beautiful regions of France.

For the exclusive Reference Masterclass this magnificent castle served as a source of inspiration for a wedding staging that made our hearts beat faster. It was a declaration of love to Provence and to the beauty that lies in every detail of wedding planning.

As part of the masterclass, a specially constructed glass orangery was set up in the inner courtyard, which formed the centrepiece of the event.

The Orangery: a contrast of tradition and modernity

One highlight of the exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence was certainly the customised orangery, which was designed by be lounge officiel was constructed for this event. This structure made of glass and black steel provided a modern contrast to the rustic charm of the château and at the same time created an intimate, sheltered atmosphere for the celebration.

Here, in this glass oasis, a space was created which, flooded with natural light, brought the beauty of Provence inside. The view outside, of the endless expanses and the majestic walls, intensified the feeling of security and freedom at the same time.

The orangery fitted perfectly into the exclusive concept and created a combination of modernity and tradition - the central theme of this wedding inspiration in Provence.

A harmonious colour palette for exclusive wedding inspiration

The table design was the centrepiece of this exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence. The high tables were arranged as a square around a central floral installation, while round tables formed the setting for the guests. This arrangement created a harmonious balance between luxurious elegance and the natural beauty of Provence.

The table decorations were to pick up on the colours of Provence - soft eucalyptus blue, reminiscent of the leaves of olive trees, and peach, pink and coral, which capture the light of the evening sun. The tables, grouped around a central floral installation, were laid with linen tablecloths and golden cutlery - a tribute to the Mediterranean landscape and the flora of Provence.

This exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence showed how colours and textures can be subtly combined to create a harmonious and luxurious atmosphere.

This feast of colours and textures was a feast for the eyes, created by the beauty in the details.

Fine crockery and luxurious accents

For the table setting, crockery from the Alentejo collection from Costa Nova whose characteristic curved edge emphasised the elegant and playful character of the event.

Das Cutlery in gold and white added luxurious accents and harmonised perfectly with the other decorative elements. The amber-coloured Glasses from Broste Copenhagen blend harmoniously into the warm colour palette and at the same time create subtle highlights.

This feast of colours and textures was not just a feast for the eyes, but a feeling, an atmosphere that made you feel how the beauty lay in the details. The amber-coloured glasses, the fine crockery and the play of warm candlelight created a warmth that bathed the room in a romantic aura.

Floral masterpieces in delicate shades of sorbet

At the centre of this exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence was a floral installation that formed the heart of the table design. The floral arrangements from Floresia, with their lightness and freshness reminiscent of a summer morning in Provence, blended harmoniously into the overall concept and brought a lively elegance to the room.

The absolute highlight was the flower arrangements, which were suspended above the guests' heads together with woven baskets attached to a table frame. This created an atmosphere in which guests felt like they were in the centre of a magical garden, surrounded by the beauty and splendour of nature. The round guest tables were decorated with floral centrepieces that echoed the colour palette of the central installation. The colours - soft sorbet shades such as peach, coral, pink and ivory - harmonised perfectly with the eucalyptus-coloured tablecloths and the golden accents of the crockery and cutlery - simply gorgeous!

The magic of light and a stormy night

As dusk began to fall and the soft candlelight combined with modern Brushed brass LED lamps illuminated the room, the orangery was transformed into a dream of light and warmth. This unique lighting concept enhanced the festive atmosphere and conjured up moments that were so special and unforgettable that you wanted to carry them in your heart forever.

During dinner in the Orangerie, we experienced a violent storm that hit the region with the typical gusts of the Mistral. Despite the force of the wind, which shook the Orangerie with impressive intensity, the sturdy metal construction proved to be a safe choice. The solid construction withstood even the fierce mistral with ease. The hotel manager later told us with a smile: „Welcome to Provence!“

If you are planning an event in Provence or want to get married there, it is advisable to take the special weather conditions into account.

The "Mistral"

The mistral is a strong, cold north wind, which often blows with gale force, especially in Provence. It occurs all year round, especially in winter and spring. Channelled through the Rhone Valley, the wind is strengthened and often reaches gale force, sometimes even lasting several days. The Mistral not only characterises the region's weather, but also influences the architecture and lifestyle of the locals.

An overall concept for an exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence

This exclusive wedding inspiration in Provence, which is part of the Reference Masterclass has impressively demonstrated how well thought-out decoration and the combination of historical and modern elements can turn a wedding reception into a unique experience. The Château de la Tour Vaucros, the orangery and the harmonious decoration created an atmosphere that was both romantic and luxurious.

The concept masterfully combined the traditional beauty of Provence with contemporary elegance. From the black and white rattan chairs to the eucalyptus-coloured tablecloths and the delicate shades of sorbet in the floral arrangements, every detail contributed to creating an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

The combination of historical elements and modern design, paired with floral masterpieces and atmospheric lighting, created an unrivalled atmosphere that was both romantic and stylish - a perfect stage for a love story to remember.

We were deeply inspired by the dedication of everyone involved - especially Christophe and Stéphanie - and we were happy to channel our creativity into the vision of the Reference Masterclass.
